Cecily and her band will perform a free lunchtime show on Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building.

To fully honor and celebrate the musical genius of Aretha Franklin, several members of DC's soul scene are joining forces to pay tribute to the one and only Queen of Soul. Come together with us in saluting the wonderful life and music of Ms. Aretha Franklin in an evening of soulful remembrance. Featured vocalists will be: Sy Smith, Wayna, Deborah Bond, Cecily, Alison Carney, Tamika Love Jones, Denise Henderson, Tamara Wellons, Tashera Robertson ...and more surprises to be confirmed. The house band will be Zo! and Micah D. E. Robinson on keys, Eliot Seppa on bass, Dante Pope on drums, and Zachary Cutler on guitar.
