Luce Unplugged
Explore the Luce Foundation Center's thousands of artworks while listening to sets by two local artists selected by Washington City Paper's arts editor, Kayla Randall. This Women’s History Month Community Showcase features the silvery harmonies of pro-womxn rock band The OSYX and the agile soprano of DC-based vocalist Cecily. Free tastings (21+) are provided by a local craft brewer. Additional libations and snacks are available for purchase. Presented with the Washington City Paper.

Attend the exclusive NYC premiere of Cecily's Awakening: The Visual EP, a short film about a young couple's love story and a young women's journey of self-love, accompanied by Cecily's music. Cecily will also perform songs from her award winning projects Awakening Pt. 1 and Songs of Love and Freedom with her acoustic trio.
This free NYE event features Cecily and Deacon Izzy on lead vocals, and a band lead by Zachary Cutler.
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington presents: Holiday Sing, a multi-genre celebration of holiday traditions around the world, featuring holiday classics and original compositions accompanied by a 15-piece chamber orchestra and a mass choir. Renowned artists, including Cecily, perform alongside underserved youth to benefit arts instruction and inner-city programming that has served the Greater Washington area for more than 135 years.

Cecily will be opening for UK quintet Ezra Collective. Pigeons & Planes says the group, "seamlessly marries the delicacies and classic sounds of jazz with afrobeat, hip-hop and dancehall rhythms for a sound that cements them as one of the UK's most exciting acts among the country's burgeoning jazz resurgence."
Wammie Winner for Best Soul Album in 2019, Cecily presents her soulful love letter to her beloved hometown of DC, including songs from the albums Songs of Love and Freedom and Awakening Pt. 1
Uptown Soul Lounge is, at once, the revival of Harlem's old jazz/soul ethos, and the birth of a new musical frontier. Launched in February of 2016, the series has made its name for bridging the gap between generations, blurring lines in the soul spectrum, and forging Harlem's most vital hotbed for the world's best emerging talent in soul music.
